The journey to creating A. Honey Aesthetics has been anything but ordinary. It’s a story shaped by global experiences, a passion for education, and a deep appreciation for the science—and the soul—of skincare.

Before stepping into the world of aesthetics, Ashley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Event Management at the University of Canberra in Australia. It was during her time there that a classmate casually mentioned her mother was an esthetician—a seemingly simple conversation that sparked an unexpected curiosity. That moment planted the seed for what would eventually become a lifelong passion.

Not long after graduating, Ashley returned to Seoul, South Korea—a city she had called home as a child and began teaching English.  And it was during this chapter, surrounded by one of the most skincare-forward cultures in the world, that her fascination with skin health truly deepened. Immersed in a society that values both innovation and ritual, Ashley began to explore skincare through a new lens—one that balanced both scientific intention and daily practice.

Eventually, her path led her to the United States, where she pursued her dream of becoming a licensed aesthetician. With that goal achieved and several years of hands-on experience under her belt, Ashley transitioned into medical aesthetics, working in clinical environments and specializing in medical-grade skincare, advanced modalities, and skin technology. Over the course of nearly six years, she refined her expertise, gaining a deep understanding of how to treat skin not only effectively, but safely and sustainably.

But with all that knowledge and experience came a desire for something more personal.
